October is Fire Prevention month and the Greater Round Lake Area Fire Department’s annual Open House is October 17^th from Noon until 4:00 pm. at the Round Lake Station #1, Nippersink & Cedar Lake Roads, Round Lake, IL.  

There will be Station Tours, Vehicle Demonstrations, Sliding Pole, 9-1-1 Tele Trainer, Sprinkler, Trailer Demo, Bake Sale, Recruitment Display, Children’s Safety Room, Smoke House, Jr. Firefighter Photos,  Blood Pressure Screening, and  Fire Safety Info.
