Our Round Lake Police Department has been awarded a grant from CVS/pharmacy to combat drug abuse and protect our environment by installing a drug collection unit. The new unit will provide residents with a safe and environmentally responsible way to dispose of unwanted or expired medication, including controlled substances but not liquids, needles, razors and other sharp items.

The unit will be located at the Round Lake Police Department at 741 W. Town Line Road, Round Lake, IL 60073 (847) 546-8112 and open from the hours of 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Monday through Friday. Drugs can be dropped off with no questions asked.
