Currently, the plots for the Community Garden program are full at the Police and Public Works Facility.  Applicants can be placed on a waiting list in the event that a current applicant cancels at that site.  The Village Hall plots for flower gardens are still available.

The Village of Round Lake is establishing a Community Garden Program.  The Round Lake Community Gardens will be located south of Village Hall on Cedar Lake Road and behind the Public Works Facility on Townline Road.  Flower gardens will be permitted on the plots located near Village Hall and vegetable or flower gardens are permitted on the plots at the Public Works facility.  Flower Gardens at Village Hall are available in plots of 5’x 10’ and garden plots are available at the Public Works Facility in plot sizes of 5’ x 10’ 20’x 20’or 20’x 40’.  The Village will till the plots at the beginning and end of the season and provide water for the plants throughout the season.  However, please note that the Village cannot guarantee that water will be available to meet your specific needs, so please be prepared.  Garden plots are available on a first come first served basis.
