Commuter Alert:

The Round Lake Police Department is investigating the theft of valuables from vehicles parked in the Metra parking lots in Round Lake.  The police department is circulating this alert to advise commuters about the recent thefts and to educate commuters on ways to avoid being a victim of this type of crime.

Any item of value (GPS units, satellite radio units, cellular telephones, cellular telephone chargers, iPods/MP3s, etc. should be taken with you or hidden completely out of sight.
