The last total lunar eclipse until 2010 occurred last night, with cameo appearances by Saturn and the bright star Regulus on either side of the veiled full moon. If you looked out of my house, the moon rose over the 120 bypass's future centerline! What a coincidence! I attempted to take a picture of the action last night but failed utterly so I have a diagram for your viewing pleasure instead.Labels: The Moon

I am serving my second term as Mayor of Round Lake, and have spent 3 years before that as Chairman of the Planning Commission, and also served 2 terms as a Round Lake Area Library Trustee. Being Mayor is a part time job and I am a licensed realtor in the state of Illinois.
