New Building Commissioner Named

Last week the board ratified my appointment of Dale Engebretson as the new Building Commissioner. Dale comes to us with well over 25 years of experience and service to municipal government, he comes to us from Glendale Heights. I believe the village's building department is slowly changing into one of code enforcement from one of new home inspection, and Dale's skill set is a close match for this, which is one of the reasons the board liked Dale.
