Round Lake and Island Lake

Mayor Tom Hyde of Island Lake stopped by for a visit on Wednesday and spent most of the day with me. He is serving his first term as Mayor and just finished his first year as Mayor. I went to Island Lake the week before last and had a good time learning about the challenges facing Island Lake and its interesting to see village government from a mayors perspective and from the outside as well.
